LAGUNA – Governor Ramil Hernandez thanked his constituents for giving him a chance to serve a third term.
In a Facebook post on May 10, Hernandez encouraged Lagunenses to set aside political differences and focus on what the province needs.
He also promised his constituents that he will not waste his last term as a governor.
Based on partial, unofficial results on May 10 at 6:02 p.m. with 98.57 percent of election returns transmitted, Hernandez got 872,156 votes.
His contender, former broadcast journalist and incumbent Laguna 3rd District Rep. Sol Aragones got 630,075 votes.
Aragones also thanked her supporters in a Facebook post on May 10 and said she will never forget the people who stood by her through her run.
