Kiko Pangilinan to join Leni Robredo in thanksgiving event

Vice presidential candidate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan will join presidential bet Vice President Leni Robredo in her thanksgiving gathering with volunteers on Friday.

Pangilinan said he will do that to make his supporters feel his heartfelt gratitude. For now, he wanted to offer them his comfort and assured them that no one will be left behind.

"Mula filing hanggang sa araw ng halalan, hindi ninyo kami iniwan. Hindi ninyo ipinagdamot ang inyong oras, talento, at resources upang mapalakas natin ang panawagan para sa isang gobyernong tapat (From the filing of candidacies to the election day, you didn't leave us. You didn't deprive us of your time, talent and resources to strengthen our call for an honest government)," he said.

"Ipinakita ninyo hindi lang sa ating kapwa Pilipino kundi sa buong mundo na posible ang isang people's campaign na sumasandig sa lakas ng pagkakaisa ng taumbayan (You showed not only to your fellow Filipinos but also to the world that a people's campaign, which depends on unity, is possible)," he added.

Pangilinan said until now many are still processing the results of the elections.

But he added that they are not alone and he joins them in their sentiment.

"Marami din kaming katanungan na patuloy naming hinahanapan ng kasagutan (We still have questions which we still need answers)," he added.
