Comelec 'on the side of truth and justice', says Marcos camp after junking of MRs
The camp of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos praised the Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Tuesday afternoon, May 10 for junking the motions of consideration (MRs) filed by the petitioners of Marcos's poll disqualification (DQ) and cancellation of certificate of candidacy (COC) cases.

“We are happy to receive the news that the Comelec En Banc has dismissed all the on the DQ cases which the First and Second Divisions have earlier ruled in favor of frontrunner Bongbong Marcos," Marcos spokesperson, lawyer Vic Rodriguez said in a statement.
"We have always believed that the poll body will stay true to its mandate to deliver a fair, honest and credible elections, including the dismissal of unmeritorious and politically-motivated petitions such as these," he said.
"The unanimous En Banc decision has proven, once and for all, that no amount of undue political pressure can weaken the resolve of the honorable Commission to be on the side of truth and justice," Rodriguez further said.
UniTeam bet Marcos, a former senator and Ilocos Norte governor, appears headed toward a majority vote win in the elections conducted Monday, May 9.
Rodriguez is expected to hold a press conference at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong City later Tuesday.
