Iwa Moto slams netizens who called her attention for reacting to Jodi Sta. Maria's presidential bet

TV personality Iwa Moto recently shared a picture of her along with her partner's father, Sen. Ping Lacson Sr.



Iwa wrote as caption: "The most qualified candidate! So proud of you daddy. Namiss kita. Love you dad @iampinglacson."



However, some netizens have not moved on from the reaction of Iwa on Jodi Sta. Maria choosing Leni Robredo over Ping Lacson in the upcoming national elections.

Iwa was hoping Jodi would not announce her support for Leni in respect to Ping. “Syempre father in law namin yung kalaban na candidate lol bwhahaha.”


"Sana hindi ka nalang din nagsalita kung sino gustong suportahan ni jodi lalo lang hahaba ang usapan," one wrote.



"Eh ano naman kaya Kung I announce ni Jodi ... past is past ... pakialamerang palaka," another added.



Iwa answered: "Anong tawag mo sa ginagawa mong pag comment. im sure d ako palaka. How about you?"

Another online user lectured Iwa about respect begets respect.



It read: "Wala naman pake si jodi kung support mo si ping so dapat keribels ka lang din kung sinong support ni jodi. Ilagay mo sa tama yun pake mo #respectbegetsrespect."


Iwa defended herself: "Nabasa mo ba post ko???? I said I respect her decision... eh ikaw nirerespeto mo ba yung post ko??? Nag post ako not to disrespect anyone. Someone asked me a question. I answered it. Straight to the point and most importantly HONESTLY!!! D ba pwedeng mag sabi ng nararamdaman?? Kaya nga i hoped eh."

A few days ago, Iwa said that she respects the political views and choices of other people like Jodi.



“She said she’s still undecided that time. Of course, I will respect her decision,” Iwa answered when asked: "Ano po ang masasabi n'yo na Leni-Kiko si Jodi?"



“Kahit naman iba iboto nya di naman mababago na pamilya kami. At mahal namin at nirerespeto ang isat isa. Syempre may sarili kaming utak at iba iba kami ng opinyon.”



Iwa is the current partner of Pampi Lacson, son of Ping. Jodi is the former wife of Pampi. They have a son Thirdy.
