Isko Moreno appeals to Pangasinan people to help him end the 'red and yellow-pink' conflict

LINGAYEN – Thirty-nine years of fighting between the two colors – red and yellow-pink – is something the Filipinos must end so peace would reign in this country.
That, in a nutshell, was what Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso wanted to impart to the people of Pangasinan whom he visited on Saturday, April 30.
Domagoso was referring to the people who are rooting for the Marcoses, and those who are going for the Aquinos and Vice President Leni Robredo.
“Hindi na matatapos ang away ng pula at dilaw. Either of them kung sino ang iboboto nyo, and I will respect that, whoever you are going to vote whether pula o dilaw because this is a democracy. And l respect everyone's rights, views and opinions,” Domagoso said during his visit to Lingayen on Saturday.
During that rally, Domagoso called on the people of Pangasinan to end the conflict between the two warring factions.
“It’s been that way since 1986, kailan ba tayo mapapanatag? Kaya mga kababayan nananawagan ako sa inyo na tuldukan na natin ang away ng pula at dilaw-pink,” appealed Domagoso to the crowd.
He said that people are going through a lot of stress, and they will definitely not be able to cope with the conflict between the two sides. He also saw that whoever wins will find it difficult to give in.
Domagoso asked the Pangasinenses to join him in his fight to win this election.
The Manila mayor said that if elected, he will focus on lowering the prices of goods, electricity, fuel, house, school, hospital, minimum basic needs, while creating more jobs.
