The Commission on Elections (Comelec) already distributed 43 million voters information sheet (VIS) ahead of the May 9 polls.

"As of yesterday (Saturday), we are already at 43 million out of the 67.4 million," Comelec Commissioner George Garcia said in a forum Sunday, May 1.
In the National Capital Region, he said, 51 percent of the VIS have been delivered.
Garcia asked those yet to receive the VIS to just wait.
"Expect to receive it before elections," he said.
"The VIS contains the name, the polling precincts, do's and dont's in voting, the candidates," added Garcia.
Based on Republic Act No. 7904 states that the Comelec must provide all registered voters, through registered mail, with a voter information sheet at least 30 days before an election which shall include the voter’s name, address, the precinct and the place where he is registered, and simplified instructions as to the casting of votes.
