Bond over GMA Network's Sunday offerings

Expect a more entertaining TV viewing experience on GMA Network with its line-up of programs for the whole family this Sunday, May 1.

On GMA Blockbusters, follow the next chapter of Shrek and Fiona’s journey in ‘Shrek 2.’ The two travel to the Kingdom of Far Far Away, where Fiona's parents are King and Queen, to celebrate their marriage. When they arrive, they find they are not as welcome as they thought they would be.

Coming in next is the afternoon mini-series ‘Raya Sirena’ which is off to a great start with its engaging storyline and fun characters. As the story continues, Raya (Sofia Pablo) still hears the mysterious voice calling her name, and when she touches the shell given to her by Gavin (Allen Ansay), she is transported to a different place as a mermaid, as if she is being called to return to the sea. She is also told by the voice that she is a Tawrena. And as her 16th birthday approaches, Raya is intrigued by what is happening to her, and she wants to know where this is all coming from.  Meanwhile, Helga (Shirley Fuentes) is focused on making sure that a big part of the wealth that Raya’s father left to his daughter goes to her eventually.

Be prepared for the fur-nomenal episode of ‘The Best Ka!’ featuring amazing animals that hold Guinness World Record Titles. Kids and kids-at-heart will surely enjoy watching a dog that catches balls using his paws; a rabbit that knows different tricks; a parrot that shoots rings on his target; and a Llama that jumps extraordinarily. Witness also the talent of a dog that was trained by a Filipino paw-parent. The program is hosted by Mikael Daez with guest co-host Rhian Ramos.

This will be followed by the fresh episode of ‘Regal Studio Presents: Supermom’ topbilled by Ms Lotlot de Leon and Kim de Leon. It tells the story of Nadia (Lotlot), a working single mom who is extremely busy with her career that her son, Iñigo (Kim) practically grew up under the care of his Yaya Yoli. One day, Nadia finds a window out of her busy schedule to have the whole day dedicated to her son, and focuses her efforts to impress her one-and-only kid.  Will the mother and son finally reconcile their differences and strengthen their relationship more than ever?

Meanwhile, it’s going to be another incredible Sunday with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes as he counts down the most extraordinary activities in the animal world on “Incredible Animal Moments” – a nature documentary program from Bomanbridge Media presented in Filipino in the top-rating infotainment show ‘Amazing Earth.’ Discover how farmers in Central Luzon solve a pest problem like the golden kuhol and turn these into a delicious dish. Join Dingdong as he returns to the Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area –a sanctuary for thousands of migratory birds from Russia, Japan, China and Korea.

Catch these Kapuso shows this Sunday, May 1, from 2PM to 6PM only on GMA.
