Eumir Felix Marcial returns to the ring for his second professional bout against American Isiah Hart in a four-round middleweight bout on Sunday (Saturday in Las Vegas).

Marking his Las Vegas debut at the Virgins Hotel in Nevada, the 26-year-old Marcial is out to represent the Philippines anew almost eight months after winning the bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan.
Marcial came in at 160.2 lbs while Hart registered 161.8 during the weigh-in Friday, April 8 there.
The Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist said his training made a lot of difference and improved over time under the tutelage of veteran trainer Jorge Capetillo and strength and conditioning coach Memo Heredia.
"Malaki pagkakaiba ngayon kasi kumpleto sparring ko. Maganda din epekto ng bagong training team ko lalo na si coach Memo na napaka-professional talaga sa pag-handle ng program ko,” said Marcial.
The same goes with Capetillo, who, Marcial said, has been guiding him almost 24/7 since the beginning of his training camp in the United States.
"Talagang full-time siya sa akin... Even sa morning run ko kahit hindi naman siya kailangan doon, pinupunthaan niya pa rin ako," he added.
In his debut pro bout, the MP Promotions boxer scored a unanimous decision win over Andrew Whitfield in their four-round middleweight bout in Los Angeles, California.
But his preparations, as well as his Olympic training, were marred after the untimely death of his older brother Eliver, who passed away last October 2020 at age 39.
This time around, Marcial, hailing from Zamboanga City, clashes with a New Jersey native boxer who holds a 6-2-1 win-loss-draw record.
Hart last saw action in July 2021 and suffered a technical knockout loss against Francis Hogan in Dedham, Massachusetts.
The Marcial-Hart bout will serve as an undercard in the 12-round interim WBC superwelterweight title fight between Erickson Lubin and Sebastian Fundora.
