Ana Jalandoni ends social media silence amid mauling incident

Actress Ana Jalandoni ended her social media silence by posting photos on Instagram on Friday, April 8.

Earlier, Ana also shared a meaningful Bible verse from the Book of Psalms in an Instagram story.

It read: “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

In her latest posts, Ana shared pictures where she took delight in nature. It was captioned with a heart emoticon.

On April 5, Ana reiterated that she still loves Kit Thompson, despite the fact she was allegedly detained and injured by her boyfriend in Tagaytay City last month. However, she has no plans of reuniting with him.

Ana made the revelation in an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda on April 3. She also bared that Kit has apologized to her.

"Nag-message siya through Instagram to say sorry,” she said. But she admitted she has not responded to his message.

Ana also said that she might forgive Kit "in time," but she will definitely not reconcile with him. "Hindi ko deserve ‘yung ginawa niya sa’kin. Wala na akong confidence sa sarili ko. Promise. Napapangitan na ako sa sarili ko. 'Pag tumitingin ako sa salamin, nakikita ko ‘yung nangyari. Parang nawala ‘yung Ana na masayahin, friendly. Nawala ‘yung kasiglahan ako.”

Days after the incident, Ana deleted tons of photos on her social media account. As of April 9, on Instagram, she only has six posts.

“Parang hindi na po kasi ako yun, ayoko ng makita,” she said.

When Ana met the press in Quezon City on March 28, she said: “Mahal ko pa rin naman siya hindi naman ganun kadaling mawala. Pero siyempre po hindi ko deserve yung nangyari sa akin. Hindi ko na iniisip kung magkakabalikan pa kami. Ang importante sa akin ay ipaglaban ko ang karapatan ko bilang babae. Talagang hindi ko matanggap yung nangyari sa akin. Pero yung sa love po andyan pa rin po yun."

In the same press conference, Ana also said she was allegedly assaulted by Kit, who got jealous of her former boyfriend. Ana and Kit have been in a relationship for four months prior to the assault. She added that this is not the first time she was hurt by Kit. But she claimed this is the most serious.

Kit is now out on bail. Sought to give a new message to her former boyfriend, Ana said: "Ayusin niya 'yung buhay niya. Matuto siya sa mga pagkakamaling nagawa niya. Kailangan niya ng tulong. Kahit masakit 'yung ginawa niya sa akin, naiintindihan ko pa rin siya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit."
