ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Presidential aspirant and Manila mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno" Domagoso vowed to unite Muslims and Christians and bring peace in Mindanao.

“Let there be peace in the Philippines,” said Domagoso during his campaign visit in Zamboanga City on Thursday, April 7.
“May awa ang Diyos, sa tulong ninyo walang giyera sa Mindanao sa panahon ko (God has mercy, with your help there will be no war in Mindanao during my term),” added Domagoso.
The Manila mayor, along with vice presidential candidate Dr. Willie Ong and some senatoriables, arrived at the Zamboanga International Airport on Thursday afternoon where they were met by their supporters.
Domagoso and his group went to the Avalokitesvara temple at the request of Ong’s wife, Lisa, to pray ,and on to the ZambaSulTa campaign headquarters along Veterans Avenue where they attended the inauguration ceremony.
Domagoso and Ong also visited the Zamboanga City Hall to pay a courtesy call on Mayor Maria Isabelle Climaco-Salazar. They were warmly welcomed by Climaco despite her declaration of support to Vice President Leni Robredo.
Domagoso’s third visit to Zamboanga City was part of his campaign in the whole Zamboanga Peninsula.
