TACLOBAN CITY – The city government of Catbalogan said it will re-impose the no vaccination, no entry policy in all establishments in its bid to get its classification down to Alert Level 1.
Under Alert Level 1, there are no restrictions in terms of indoor and outdoor capacities, and that everyone can undertake intrazonal and interzonal travel without regard to age and even comorbidities.
The city though has not gone this level as it failed to achieve its target number in vaccination.
A house-to-house vaccination drive had also been initiated by the City Health Office to quickly jack up the vaccination figures in the city only to fail.
Only about 4200 individuals had been vaccinated, way below the city’s target.
City Mayor Dexter Uy is urging his constituents to get vaccinated so that the National Inter-Agency Task Force would reduce the city’s classification to Alert Level 1.
Aside from vaccination cards, valid identification cards will also be required to ascertain the ownership and identity of the vaccination cardholder.
