Jaclyn Jose: 'I will never get tired working with newcomers'

International award-winning actress Jaclyn Jose has no problem working with newcomers in the entertainment industry.
"I will never get tired of working with the newcomers because I was once there," said Jose during a Zoom conference for the upcoming psychological thriller-drama movie "Tahan" under the production of 3:16 Media Network at the Music Box in Quezon City last April 4.
Jose will be working with newcomers Chloe Barretto, Stiff Banzon, AJ Oyteza, Karl Medina, Mac Cardona, Joseph San Jose; and EJ Salamante in the film "Tahan." The executive producers for the movie are John Bryan Diamante and Janilyn Carrillo. It is written by Quinn Carrillo and directed by Bobby Bonifacio Jr.

Jose encouraged newbies to focus on their roles when they arrive at the set of the movie.
"Siyempre, pagdating sa set, we are what we are portraying na. Kasi, pag ganitong may pandemya mabilis po ang trabaho," she said.
Jose added: "So, kinakailangan naka-focus po tayo. Let’s enjoy and work, para smooth and maganda po."
In accepting movie projects, Jose said that she wants them unique and memorable.

Barretto admitted that she's a bit nervous working with award-winning stars like Jose and JC Santos.
And I know marami po akong matututunan kay Miss Jaclyn Jose and JC Santos," Barretto said.
Quinn revealed that Jose and Barretto were really on her mind when she was writing the screenplay. And some parts of the upcoming movie were based on true stories.
Barretto got emotional when the movie was offered to her.
