Find out Jennylyn Mercado's inspiration for her pregnancy shoot

Such a romantic choice, indeed!

Just a few hours ago, the blooming expectant mom Jennylyn Mercado posted a gorgeous photo of her maternity shoot.

Set designer Justine Arcega-Bumanlag posted some more behind the scenes, sharing the inspiration for this shoot. "Jennylyn’s painterly photo as captured by BJ was heavily inspired by the French Artist Ingres for his portraits and Dutch Artist Velest for his flower still life paintings."

"To create a set for this vision, we prepared a 16ft wall backdrop in limewash, assorted apple boxes draped with satin fabric and florals I arranged as inspired by Verlest’s floral paintings (this, I really enjoyed. Arranging flowers can really be therapeutic," she adds.
