Catriona Gray reunites with father in Australia

Catriona Gray flew to Australia recently to be with her dad.

On her social media account, the former beauty queen uploaded a photo of her holding her father’s hand.

"Finally reunited with daddy (smiling face with three hearts emoji)," she wrote as caption.

Catriona then expressed gratefulness relating how scary the past few weeks were for her and her family.

"Prayer is so powerful - my family's story is a testament to that. It was one of the scariest times, but we're out of the woods now. My dad is the strongest person I know, my real life hero. Love you papa," she stated.

Catriona didn't share details as to what exactly happened to her father.

Note a few months ago, she penned a heartwarming birthday message for her dad.

It read: "Happy Birthday to my forever young papa bear (bear face emoji)!! Can't wait to be with you again. I'm so grateful to have such a wise, intentional and strong father like you, always cheering me on, always telling me I can do it...always telling me how proud you are of me. (pleading face emoji) Love you so much papa. Can't wait to celebrate with you over a big meal and a good glass of wine!"
