Before proceeding to the “LeniWanag ang Silangan” Grand People's Rally in Antipolo City, Rizal, fishers held a pink fluvial parade in Laguna de Bay. Aboard their fishing boats designed with pink ribbons and banners, Pamalakaya rove around the fluvial site as they “reiterate their calls on socio-economic and sectoral concerns.”

“We show our support to the candidacies of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan based on common political platforms including the fishing sectors’ specific demand to uphold the national sovereignty and protect the Filipino fishers in the West Philippine Sea,” said Pamalakaya.
