For the first time in two years, award-winning director Brillante Mendoza and the stars of "Sisid" watched the movie in the theater at the Gateway in Cubao, Quezon City recently.

Aside from Mendoza, those who attended the movie screening were Kylie Verzosa, Christine Bermas, and Vince Rillon. Lead actor Paolo Gumabao wasn't able to join the screening due to lock-in taping for another project.

Mendoza and the stars met the press after the successful movie event. They were asked about how they felt watching the film on the big screen.

Verzosa answered: "Sobrang saya ko na finally, I saw one of my projects on the big screen kasi two years have passed na and the first movie I saw on the screen is gawa ni Direk Brillante. I just feel so grateful.

Mendoza gave his "Sisid" stars the thumbs up for their discipline and acting skills.

Asked to comment on his love scenes with Gumabao, Rillon said: "Hindi ko po alam paano ko naitawid yun.

Verzosa also shared her thoughts about her cheating partner, one of the major characters in the movie.

"Kung mangyari sa tutoong buhay, forgive him. I'll be glad he found himself eventulally pero part yun ng isang journey ng isang tao. We serve each other's purpose in our lives. Masakit but I think eventually you'll forgive. Ang biis niyang mag-forgive," said the former Miss International.

"This is a true to life story.

"Sisid" is now streaming on Vivamax.
