Ogie Diaz backs Robin Padilla

Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz has expressed his support to actor Robin Padilla, who's running for the Senate in the 2021 national elections.

In a video uploaded by actress Karla Estrada, a party-list nominee, Ogie vouched for Robin.

"Hi po, ako po si Ogie Diaz. Ako po'y naniniwala na meron na pong isang kandidato na siguradong-siguradong hindi kayo magsisi kapag ito ay naupo," Ogie started.

According to him, Robin is more than just an actor.

"Sasabihin niyong artista lang ito, aktor lang ito, action star lang ito pero hindi po," Ogie said. "Sa pagiging action star niya, hindi lang sa pelikula namin nakikita yan, kung hindi sa likod ng camera dahil si Robin Padilla po ay nuon pa ay consitent na sa pag tulong sa kanyang kapwa."

Ogie also attested to Robin's golden heart.

"Saksi po ako diyan. Promise, wa-echos," he noted. "Kaya sobra akong bilib kay Robin."

He hopes voters will give Robin a "chance" to serve the country through Senate.

"Naku, jusko po, Robin Padilla yan, hindi dahil sa kanyang pangalan na isang sikat na artista. Hindi po. Sikat po yan sa pagtulong sa kapwa. Naku, ma e-experience niyo yan, promise!," he ended.
