Six presidential bets have confirmed their participation in the Pilipinas Forum 2022 of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the Kapisanan ng Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP) next month.

Comelec Commissioner George Garcia said they are Ernesto Abella, Leody de Guzman, Norberto Gonzales, Emmanuel Pacquiao, Faisal Mangondato, and Jose Montemayor Jr.
Four vice presidential bets also confirmed to participate namely; Rizalito David, Manny Lopez, Vicente Sotto and Carlos Serapio.
When asked why the other bets are not participating, Garcia cited conflict of schedules and previous commitments as reasons.
Those who opted to skip the activity are presidential bets Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Ping Lacson, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr, and Vice President Leni Robredo.
Also not participating in the activity are vice presidential candidates Lito Atienza, Walden Bello, Sara Duterte, Willie Ong, and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.
The Comelec earlier gave bets until 5 p.m. Thursday to confirm their attendance. The poll body then extended the deadline until Friday noon upon the request of candidates.
The panel interview sessions of the Comelec-KBP forum will be aired from 10 am to 12 noon, from May 2 to 6, 2022 by Bombo Radyo Philippines, Radio Mindanao Network, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. (Teleradyo and ANC), TV5 Network Inc. (One PH and OneNews), CNN Philippines, and Radyo Pilipino, among others.
