'Vandalizing of Team Leni-Kiko murals bolsters our resolve'--- Pangilinan
Vandalizing of several murals of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan will not weaken their resolve, instead it will only embolden them to campaign harder for their tandem, Pangilinan said.

Speaking before volunteers in Malabon on Wednesday, April 27, the vice presidential aspirant rebuked political opponents in Navotas who vandalized their murals made by volunteer artists and youth.
“At dito ang balita natin iyong mga katunggali natin ay gumagamit ng dahas at hindi tamang mga paraan ... vandalism diyan sa Navotas. Iyong mural na ginawa ng ating mga volunteers (I heard that our opponents are using violence and unright ways... vandalism in Navotas. The mural that was made by our volunteers)," Pangilinan said as he spoke to the volunteers at the "Tinig ng mga anak ng fuschia" volunteers' thanksgiving event.
“Kung akala nila madadaan nila sa ganyang klaseng takutan na tayo ay matatakot, nagkakamali sila. Lalong pinipigil, lalong ginigipit, lalong tatapang, lalong lalaban. Hindi tayo papayag sa isang klaseng bulok na paraan (If they think they can intimidate us through those threats, they're wrong. The more they oppress us, we become braver, we fight more. We won't tolerate this kind of rotten way),” he added.
This was not the first time such incident happened. The Robredo-Pangilinan tandem has been at the receiving end of whitewashing of murals as well as dismantling of posters in private properties.

Pangilinan had a separate schedule with running mate Robredo the entire day as they go into the homestretch phase of the May elections. Pangilinan, along with his wife, Sharon Cuneta, barnstormed Malabon and Navotas while Robredo was in Bulacan.
During his visit to Malabon, Pangilinan earned the endorsement of Mayor Antolin 'Len' Oreta III, who is also endorsing Robredo for the presidency. Their senatorial slate also gained support from Oreta.
The lawmaker reiterated his call to volunteers to keep "calmy convincing" the undecided and confused Filipino voters to shift to their side come May 9.
“Huwag taasan ng kilay...ang maraming undecided o nalilito. Kausapin sa maayos na paraan (Don't raise your eyebrows...to those many undecided and confused. Talk to them in a calm way),” he said.
