Megastar Sharon Cuneta took to Instagram today, April 28, to greet her husband vice presidential aspirant Kiko Pangilinan on their 26th wedding anniversary.

Sharon's full post on Instagram:

"Happy 26th Wedding Anniversary to my boyfriend of 28 years, best friend, protector, defender, shock-absorber, biggest fan, nicest critic, “neybor,” adviser, teacher, the best father God could have ever picked for my children, our playmate - one of the best men on the planet - my Kiko.

"Happy Anniversary ? wishing you, so many more years filled with most love and happiness!!" Sharon wrote.

Sharon said that her husband gave her flowers as the song "God Only Knows" played on the speakers.

"This family of mine!!! They nonchalantly enter the banyo as I am almost naked and about to take a shower, while “God Only Knows” plays on some speaker (thanks, Ate Kakie!) and Kiko gives me this beautiful bouquet of my favorite flowers in my favorite colors and his beautiful cards!!! I love being his wife and these knuckleheads’ Mommy."

Sharon also reposted a quote from her husband: "I will fight tooth and nail to make this marriage work’ and ‘I will never trade being a husband and father for anything in the world."

Kiko is the running mate of presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo.

Sharon said that this year is her best wedding anniversary celebration yet.

"Our best wedding anniversary celebration yet - because we met up with farmers who walked, many of whom rode roros and walked and walked again, from CamSur, Sumilao, Bukidnon and Pampanga to show their support for Kiko and VP Leni. Tears still flowing.

"Heart so touched and overwhelmed. Kakie, Miel and Miguel, as well as Kiko’s brother Anthony and our nephews Donny Pangilinan and Gab Valenciano also came. Thank you so much to the priests at Baclaran Church who gave us an anniversary blessing as well as blessings for all our farmers.

"Thank you so much to Ella Aldeguer-Favis for preparing the boodle lunch for our beloved farmers! May God bless all Filipino farmers and fisherfolk. Manalo o matalo man, di namin kayo kalilimutan o pababayaan. Mahal na mahal na mahal po namin kayo! God bless us all, God bless the Philippines!"
