Bea Rose Santiago reveals new kidney came courtesy of brother

Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago took to social media on Wednesday to open up about her recent kidney transplant.

Note that prior, Binibining Pilipinas World 2007 Maggie Wilson made it public via a post.

In her own post, Bea shared photos as with a video of her at Toronto General Hospital.

She captioned the post, "New kidney, who this?"

She added, "Finally after the third time and three years of dialysis! I feel brand new! I feel loved and renewed!"

Bea then thanked all those who have prayed for her.

She made special mention of her younger brother saying, "Thank you to my baby brother’s love and bean I am changed."

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach congratulated Bea.

She wrote, "So brave! What a woman! Congratulations, Bea!"

"Yay! So happy for you and sending you love and strength as you recover," said Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters.

It was in 2018 when Bea first opened up about her chronic kidney disease.
