6 drug suspects arrested in Pasay and Parañaque

Six drug suspects listed in the police drug watch list were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and confiscated from them P112,880 worth of shabu on Wednesday, April 27.

In Pasay City, Col. Cesar Paday-os, city police chief, identified the suspects as Ernesto Fernando, 59; Dennis Toledo, 46; Jovie Alejandre, 24; and Andres Olarate, 60, all residents of Pasay City.

Paday-os said the suspects were arrested around 10 p.m. in Veloso Compound, Tramo St., Pasay City. Confiscated from them were 1.6 grams of shabu worth P10,880, drug paraphernalia, and an improvised handgun with 12 gauge ammunition.

The city police chief said the suspects are now detained at the SDEU custodial facility and charged for illegal possession of drugs and firearms.

In Parañaque City, Col. Maximo Sebastian, city police chief, said Ramon Villoga, 38, of Tramo II, Parañaque City, and Mary Grace, 29, of Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City were arrested during a buy-bust operation at 10:50 p.m. along Canada St., Tramo II, Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.

Sebastian said confiscated from the suspects were 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.

He said the suspects are detained at the Parañaque City police custodial facility and charges of illegal possession of drugs were filed against them.
