Valenzuela City to start administering 2nd booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine
The Valenzuela City government will start administering second Covid-19 booster dose to immunocompromised individuals on Friday, April 29.
Immunocompromised individuals aged 18 and above may be vaccinated as long as their first booster dose was given three months before the second booster shot.
The vaccination will be done at Valenzuela City Astrodome from 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. Walk-ins will be accepted, the city government said.
Immunocompromised individuals include those with HIV, immunodeficiency state, active cancer or malignancy, transplant recipients, undergoing steroid treatment, bedridden patients, and other immunodeficiency cases confirmed by a physician.
A first-come, first-served system and a quota of 800 individuals per day will be implemented at the vaccination site.
Individuals must bring their VCVax passport/vaccination card, booster card, a medical certificate issued within six months, and government IDs.
