UniTeam ticket member Mark Villar is the most preferred senatorial candidate by Filipinos for the upcoming May 9 polls based on the results of the latest RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) senatorial preference survey.

The RPMD poll was reportedly conducted from April 17 to 21 and involved 10,000 respondents.
Based on the results, Villar garnered an impressive 72.6 percent voter preference.
The next 11 behind the former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary are Senate hopefuls Loren Legarda (67.1 percent), Chiz Escudero (61.5), Raffy Tulfo (60.3), Alan Cayetano (53.8), Win Gatchalian (52.4), Migz Zubiri (51.7), Jejomar Binay (44.8), Robin Padilla (43.6), Gringo Honasan (43.2), Sen. Joel Villanueva (37.5), and finally, JV Estrada Ejercito (34.8).
“Maraming salamat po ulit sa RPMD, isang malaking karangalan po ulit na manguna sa senatorial survey, mas lalo ko pa pong pag bubutihan ang aking serbisyo publiko (Thank you RPMD. It’s an honor to top the senatorial survey, I will work to improve my public service),” Villar said in a statement on Wednesday, April 27.
Villar, whose main platform is the continuation of the Duterte administration’s “Build, Build, Build” initiative, is the also a former Las Piñas City congressman.
