Troy Montero, Aubrey Miles on daughter being diagnosed with autism

Aubrey Miles and Troy Montero are now batting for autism awareness.

They are doing so for their youngest daughter Rocket.

The couple took to social media to share the advocacy, revealing Rocket has Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Posting a photo on Instagram of themselves with Rocket, they wrote, "Autism awareness for Rocket. Yes, our Rocket has ASD, Autism spectrum disorder."

The couple said they didn’t share the matter with fans prior "because we are still learning about ASD."

"It was important for us to educate ourselves about it. At first we were confused, and questioned ourselves, how and why," they added.

The couple said there are some people who might think that "someone with autism acts crazy, has mental problems, physical issues and other stuff."

"Yes, it’s mental but not a problem, yes can be physical but it’s not an issue and definitely not crazy," they added.

According to the couple "autism is different for every kid."

The couple said their daughter Rocket "has the common symptoms" of ASD including delayed speech, among others.

They are "still in the process of learning" about ASD, admitting, "It’s going to be a long ride."

Apart from Rocket, Aubrey and Troy have another child named Hunter.

Last March, Troy and Aubrey got engaged in Boracay..
