Filipino-Argentinian confirmed to debut in new girl group of Momoland's agency
The agency of Momoland will debut a new girl group in June and it includes a Filipino-Argentinian member.

MLD Entertainment, the agency of K-pop groups Momoland, T1419 and JT & Marcus, announced that its new girl group will be named Lapillus.
Lee Hyung-jin, the agency’s CEO, told Korean media that the members of Lapillus can speak Spanish, English, Filipino, Chinese and Japanese.
He then mentioned Chanty, aka Chantal Videla, a Filipino-Argentinian who has been a trainee under MLD Entertainment since last year.
Chanty is 19 years old and became part of the Star Magic Circle Batch 2018. Last December, she appeared in the music video of JT & Marcus’ song “First.”

Lee Hyung-jin also mentioned the name of Nonaka Shana, a Japanese who became a contestant in the reality competition show “Girls Planet 999” last year.
He said the members of Lapillus will be revealed one by one from the third week of May and the aim is for the group to go global.
On the other hand, KAMP CEO Tim Kim also told Korean media that they are planning to hold the KAMP music festival in South America, America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
He said there are plans to hold KAMP in Los Angeles, Manila and Jakarta in the second half of the year.
