Anti-narcotics agents nab suspected lady drug pusher; seize P3.4-M worth of shabu in possession
QUEZON – Operatives arrested an alleged lady pusher and seized some P3.4-million worth of shabu in her possession during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday, April 27, at Barangay Mayuwi in Tayabas City, Quezon Province.
The joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - Calabarzon, PDEA-Quezon, Quezon Police Office, PDEA-SIU, Regional Special Enforcement Team and Tayabas City Police conducted the drug buy-bust operation.
Col. Joel Villanueva, director of Quezon police, identified the suspect as Anna Marie Laurel, alias Ging-Ging, 45, a resident of Brgy. Laurel, Tagkawayan town.
Some 500 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P3.4 million was found in the suspect’s possession.
Also found in the suspect were a smartphone and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect is now under the custody of PDEA-IV-A-Quezon and is facing violation of section 5, Article II of R.A. 9165.
