Imee revisits history as she explores the Walled City's most Instagrammable spots

IMEE Marcos goes all out for the Gram this weekend on her official YouTube channel as she showcases the most Instagram-worthy spots in historic Intramuros via a special two-part Vlog episode that streams on April 29 and 30.

 
Clad in a classic Filipiniana ensemble, Senator Imee sashayed her way through the old cobblestones of Intramuros, frolicked in a magnificent fountain, took a scenic ride in a traditional Pinoy kalesa, and surveyed the stone walls of Fort Santiago for a little dose of history, as well as for the perfect spots for selfies and group photos. 


“Instagram as we all know is still one of the most popular platforms on social media, and I am relatively new to it,” says Imee. “Pinoys love to upload on their IG feeds and stories, and it seems that we are always on the look-out for the perfect spot for the ideal post. Intramuros is one of the best locations here in Manila for non-stop pictorial sessions for the Gram. It’s also great that we get historical insight from our photos.” 


After an entire day of 'wandering' in the Walled City, Imee winds down and segues to a popular ice cream parlor, makes a stopover in a one-of-a-kind public library as she reveals some of her all-time favorite books, and ends her day in a picturesque rooftop restaurant that serves the most delicious food and the most refreshingly healthy smoothies.

 
“We really don’t have to spend much and travel far to have a day of fun with family and friends,” says the Senator. “You would be surprised with the wonders you could discover right here in Metro Manila alone. And don’t forget to snap memorable photos and post them on Instagram.”
