The official Twitter account of the University of the Philippines (UP) System with the handle @upsystem has been hacked as of Monday, April 25.

As of press time, the entry “takashi murakami” appears to have overtaken the UP system’s official Twitter account.

UP is considered the country's premier institution of higher learning. Its official Twitter account has 207.5K followers.
