The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has set the hearing for the majority, minority parties and 10 major political parties on Tuesday, April 26.

On Monday, the poll body released the list of those that applied for accreditation.
On the list are the following: National Unity Party, Aksyon Demokratiko, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, Nacionalista Party, Liberal Party, Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino, United Nationalist Alliance, Lakas CMD, NPC, Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma, Akbayan, PDP-Laban (Cusi), PDP-Laban (Pimentel), Kabaka, Bileg, Asenso Manileno Movement, Partido Navoteno, Makimaza, Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod, Aksyon Agad, Partido Siquijodnon, Asenso San Pedro, Unang Sigaw, Arangkada San Jose, Kambilan, and Hugpong ng Pagbabago.
The Comelec earlier gave all political parties participating in the May 2022 polls until April 11 to file their petition for accreditation for the determination of the Dominant Majority Party and the Dominant Minority Party.
"A political party duly registered with the Commission may file a verified petition for accreditation for the determination of the Dominant Majority Party, the Dominant Minority Party, the 10 Major National Parties, and the 2 Major Local Parties," the Comelec said in Resolution No. 10770.
Those that will be determined as the Dominant Majority Party will be entitled to the 5th copy of the election returns, and 7th copy of the certificates of canvass.
The Dominant Minority Party,on the other hand, shall be entitled to the 6th copy of the election returns, and 8th copy of the certificates of canvass.
The 9th to the 18th copies of election returns and certificates of canvass shall be given to the 10 accredited major national parties while the 19th and 20th copies of election returns and certificates of canvass shall be provided to the two accredited major local parties.
