We placed an order. And they delivered.
When the TechNews and Lifestyle sections came up with an idea of a collaboration issue, we agreed to a working title of “Now Serving,” which, for all intents and purposes, sounded like a call for a return to normalcy.
Pundits would caution against the declaration of a post-pandemic life for everybody since Covid-19, while no longer as fatal as before, is still mutating.
The general public, however, would insist otherwise and holler back “It’s business, as usual.”
Living under fear and trepidation for more than a year, the countdown to alert levels in the country is welcomed a count ahead of the actual number. For many, alert level 1 is equivalent to alert level Zero, if there's such a thing.
Tech plus Lifestyle equals business—technology, food, hotels, malls, stores, movers, etc.—and life as we used to know it, except a little more cautious, a little wiser, and a little more aware of how temporary everything is, including a pandemic of this scale.
So “Now Serving” it is, the title of this special collaboration issue between TechNews and Lifestyle.
Tech plus Lifestyle equals business—technology, food, hotels, malls, stores, movers, etc.—and life as we used to know it, except a little more cautious, a little wiser, and a little more aware of how temporary everything is, including a pandemic of this scale.
When we sent out invitations for support in our endeavor, we were surprised with the very positive response. And we were humbled.
Now, in case you're wondering, these friends of ours are “Now Serving.”

We thank you all.
