Beauty queen Margie Moran denies being 'kakampink'

Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran is setting the record straight: she's not endorsing any candidate this coming election.

This after her name, along with co-beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, were being tagged as supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo.

Gray and Wurtzbach have previously endorsed VP Leni, except for Moran.

On Instagram, the 68-year-old celebrity shared the screenshot of the post, claiming she was endorsing Leni.

It read: "3 out of 4 Miss Universe from the Philippines (Margarita, Pia, and Catriona) endorsed Leni Robredo as their President."

The Miss Universe 1973 called the report "fake news."

Margie reiterated that she will not compromise her position as a government official by endorsing a candidate.

"My choice is who I think will serve the nation best," said the current chairperson of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
