Arrested drug trader found in possession of P720,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves
PEÑABLANCA, Cagayan – A 23-year old man who had been under surveillance for a week was apprehended by anti-narcotics agents during a buy-bust operation on Sunday in Barangay Alimanao.

The suspect Romel Baculi, 23, single, was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives at around 6 p.m. after he allegedly sold six pieces of suspected dried marijuana leaves in brick form, weighing 6,000 grams, to a PDEA agent acting as a buyer.
The dried marijuana leaves were estimated to be around P720,000 based on the market value.
Also confiscated were a black travelling bag, a black motorcycle, cellular phone, a blue sling bag, and the buy-bust money.
Baculi is now facing charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Act of 2002.
