Less than three weeks before the 2022 elections, over 300 musicians banded together in a music video to voice their support for Vice President Leni Robredo’s presidential bid.

The performers, who belong to Musicians for Leni-Kiko, performed their rendition of “Rosas,” one of Robredo’s campaign songs, as an expression of support and a gift for her 57th birthday on April 23.

"Rosas" was composed by Nica del Rosario. Kabaitan Bautista did the musical direction and orchestration in the music video, while the piano choral arrangement was by Michael Kenneth Fabian and Joshua Angelo Fabros Mondares.

National Artist Ryan Cayabyab appeared in the seven-minute video with volunteer artists and singers such as John Arcilla, The Company, Arman Ferrer, and John Mark Saga.

Various instrumentalists from the Philippines and some parts of the globe like the United States, Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland performed in the music video.

In a Facebook post, the Musicians for Leni-Kiko expressed their belief that Robredo is the only leader capable of uplifting the lives and well-being of the Filipino people.

Over 300 singers, pianists, pianists, instrumentalists, musical arrangers, music educators, and professionals in the music industry joined forces to stand up and show support for the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan.

"Bolunterismo ang nagbuklod sa grupo at pag-asa para sa Pilipinas ang naging motibasyon ng bawat isa para mabuo ang proyektong ito (Volunteerism unied the group and hope for the Philippines is what motivated each member to create this project)," the group wrote in its Facebook post.

"Handog namin ito para sa kinabukasan ng Pilipinas, sa kaarawan ng pinuno na magdadala sa atin doon (This is our gift to the country's future, on the birthday of the leader that will take us there)," it added.
