FAMOUS: Daniel Padilla gives juicy details on new serye with Kathryn Bernardo

Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo return to romantic-comedy via the new Kapamilya series “2 Good 2 Be True” where they bring to life the love story of Eloy and Ali.

A confessed romantic in real life, DJ said that he did not mind playing a man who is cynical about love.
“Kaya naman tayo mga aktor hindi ba kayo umaarte kasi hindi naman lahat ng character natin ay kagaya natin. Dun lang papasok ang pagiging aktor ko. Ganun lang yun,” shared Daniel during the Netflix media event for "2 Good 2 Be True."


Daniel also admitted that it is never hard for him and Kathryn to show their strong chemistry onscreen, even after playing numerous roles together since 2011.


”Meron kasing magic sa totoong pagmamahal. Meron ding magic sa ganun. Pero pagdating sa enteblado sa set namin ay automatic naman din, pagdating naman dun hindi ko tinitingnan si Kathryn na girlfriend ko siya, yung ganun. Hindi naman siya ganun eh. Parang pagdating dun in character ka rin naman talaga. Automatically, pag nagkaka-eksena kaming dalawa eh hindi ko naman siya tinitingnan bilang girlfriend ko as Kathryn. Tinitingnan ko siya bilang character niya at ako bilang character ko doon. Pag napansin naman ng aming director na hindi maganda eh talagang susuwayin naman niya at sasabihin niya ulitin namin at gagawin naman namin. Sa tagal din naming magkakatrabaho, alam din naman namin tanggalin yung pagiging kami sa personal naming mga buhay at ipakita namin yung dapat na ipalabas sa mga character namin.” he added.

The actor said that fans can still look forward to seeing something fresh from him and Kath in "2 Good 2 Be True." Said he: “Unang una, sa dami ng ginawa namin ni Kathryn, ano nga ba ang puwede naming ibigay na bago ba di ba? Siyempre unang una , iba naman yung kuwento, iba naman yung characters namin ni Kathryn dito and first time din namin ni direk Mae (Cruz Alviar) na mag-se-serye from simula hanggang dulo. So ang dami pa naming puwedeng i-offer na bago dito. At the same time, kasama din yung casting ng aming show. Malaking bagay din yun. And more on mas ganun."
