The Commission on Elections (Comelec) said on Friday, April 22 that its precinct finder is now online.

Comelec's precinct finder can be accessed through: https://voterverifier.comelec.gov.ph/voter_precinct

A registered voter can search where they can vote or their assigned polling center or precinct for the elections on May 9, 2022.

They can do so by encoding their full name, region and city or municipality where they registered as a voter.

On April 1, the Comelec partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in preparation for the upcoming polls. The DICT said it will provide cloud hosting to Comelec’s online services such as Precinct Finder, among others.

According to Comelec Commissioner George Erwin Garcia, the DICT had a small technical problem that caused the delay in the activation of Comelec’s Precinct Finder, adding that the DICT and Comelec have ensured that hackers will not be able to access the Precinct Finder.

For those who have no internet access, Garcia said that their personnel from local Comelec offices will soon provide voters with an information sheet, containing the details of where they will cast their vote.
