BI to inaugurate new office in Makati

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) will inaugurate on Monday its new extension office in Makati City located at the Ayala Circuit Mall along J.P. Rizal Street.

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente said Friday, April 22, that the extension office caters mostly to foreign nationals of the top 1000 corporations in the country.

The BI chief said the transfer is timely as international business is expected to flourish again with the reopening of the country's borders.

“Foreign investors are expected to return now that we are transitioning to the new normal and there is a need to move to a bigger office to provide better service,” he said.

Meanwhile, the main office of the bureau will also be transferred to its new building along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City.
