P400,000 worth of shabu seized from two arrested drug peddlers in Nueva Ecija

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Central Luzon cops arrested two suspected drug peddlers and seized more than P400,000 worth of shabu during an anti-illegal drug operation in Nueva Ecija on Wednesday morning, April 20.

Operatives from the Cabanatuan City Police arrested Ma. Saning Santos, 53, and Jenny Rose alias ‘Rosa,’ 30, during a buy-bust operation at Purok 7, Brgy. Sangitan west, Cabanatuan City.

Confiscated from them were 16 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, all containing substance believed to be shabu, and weighing more or less 61 grams with estimated value of P414,800; and two pieces of marked P500 bill.

The two suspects, who are residents of Brgy. Casile, Llanera, Nueva Ecija, are now facing charges in violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of Art II of R.A. 9165.
