Human torso found in Malabon river

A human torso was found floating in Polo River in Barangay Santulan, Malabon City on Thursday afternoon, April 21.

According to the Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) report, the trunk was already in an advanced state of decomposition when spotted at around 12:30 p.m. by a concerned citizen who immediately alerted the barangay watcher and the police.

Staff Sgt. Jeric Tindugan of MCPS Investigation Unit told Manila Bulletin that responding officers of the Santulan Sub-Station (SS3) immediately went to the river and retrieved what appears to be a man’s torso.

The MCPS and the Valenzuela City Police Station are still investigating the incident.
