A father and his son who were placed under the police drug watchlist were arrested by members of the Parañaque police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during a buy-bust operation while in possession of P714,000 worth of shabu on Thursday, April 21.
Col. Maximo Sebastian, city police chief, identified the suspects as Archieval David Tesoro,44, and son Aldrich Gabriel, 21. The suspects are now detained at the Parañaque police custodial facility and are facing charges of illegal possession of drugs.
Sebastian said the suspects were arrested at about 4:20 a.m. along Pictorial Lane, Fourth Estate Subdivision, Barangay San Antonio, Parañaque City.
The city police chief said members of the SDEU confiscated from the suspects around 105 grams of shabu worth P714,000.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraed warned those engaged in the illegal drugs trade that the police will hunt them down and place them behind bars.
