The Precinct Finder will be available on Friday, April 22, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner George Erwin M. Garcia announced.

"DICT called a while ago and told us that they will activate the Precinct Finder tomorrow," he told reporters, Thursday, April 21.
Garcia earlier announced that the Precinct Finder of Comelec will be made available within this week.
On April 1, the Comelec partnered with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in preparation for the upcoming polls. The DICT said it will provide cloud hosting to Comelec’s online services such as Precinct Finder, among others.
He said the DICT had a small technical problem that caused the delay in the activation of Comelec's Precinct Finder, adding that the DICT and Comelec have ensured that hackers will not be able to access the Precinct Finder.
Voters may access the Precinct Finder at the poll body’s website ( http://www.comelec.gov.ph).
As not everyone has access to the internet, Garcia said their personnel from local Comelec will soon provide voters with an information sheet, containing the details of where they will cast their vote.
