LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Voters and shoppers in this city and other neighboring towns in this province may experience how to cast vote using the actual vote counting machine (VCM) which SM City Lucena and the Commission on Election have put up at the mall.
Voters can try the machine today (Wednesday) until Sunday (April 24).
It is part of the joint initiative of the Comelec and SM Supermalls to educate voters on the May 9, 2022 local and national election. The VCM trial is dubbed ‘Let's Vote Pinas.’
The mock voting exercise is meant to offer the experience how to cast a vote in the election.
The VCM demonstration booth is placed in the ground floor of the mall for the convenience of the mall shoppers and exclusively to SM only.
The Comelec is encouraging registered voters to try the VCM to avoid unnecessary problem on Election Day.
