Online seller of RTW in Bayombong nabbed for selling illegal drugs

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya -- An online seller of RTW items who had been under surveillance allegedly for selling illegal drugs was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Police identified the suspect as Jacqueline Mannag @JEN/Jacky, 30, and resident of Ponce Gym Ext. Purok 5, Brgy. Don Mariano Marcos, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Joint personnel of Bayombong Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Unit Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Police Office conducted a drug operation at around 3:50 a.m. of April 19, 2022 along Bypass Road, Purok 5, Brgy. Bonfal East, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Mannag and the confiscation of one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.

The operatives also found in the suspect’s possession buy-bust money, android cell phone, one unit motorcycle, buy-bust stuff, small heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be Shabu.

“Matagal na rin siya minamanmanan ng awtoridad sa mga napapabalitang sideline nito sa iligal na droga at nagkataon na natiyempuhan din ng awtoridad,” police said.

Police added that it's also part of their monitoring on social media especially those personalities reported with illegal activities.

The suspect is now facing charges for violating RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
