Elderly twin brothers drown in Pangasinan beach

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan – Elderly twin brothers who were drunk both died as they drowned in a public beach in Brgy. Nibaliw Vidal here on Tuesday.

The victims were identified as Robaldo Garbo and Reynaldo Garbo, both 60, residents of Brgy. Sta. Ines, Manaoag, Pangasinan. Reynaldo was a councilor in their barangay.

According to the victim’s relative Kristoffer, the twins were drunk when they went to the beach where they were swept by strong waves.

Their relatives, who proceeded to the area, were able to pull them off the water and bring them to the shoreline, already unconscious.

They were rushed to R1MC, Dagupan City (annex) but were declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
