CDO youth express full support for BBM-Sara tandem through 'Unity Walk'

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY -- Hundreds of youngsters in this city have expressed their full support to presidential candidate former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and vice-presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio through a 'Unity Walk' launched on Wednesday, April 20.

In an interview, Louise Brylee Balatayo, chairperson of BBM-Sara Youth Movement Cagayan de Oro Chapter, said the event was participated by different BBM-Sara volunteers and supporters in this city, and not just limited to the youngsters.

Supporters, wearing green and red shirts, started to gather at the Rotonda Circle as early as 5:30 in the morning. They traveled along Don Apolinar Velez street and walked to Kiosko Kagawasan Golden Friendship Park at Divisoria.

The BBM-Sara Youth Movement Cagayan de Oro Chapter, the main organizer of the activity, also conducted a mini concert and other activities at Kiosko Kagawasan to highlight the event.

Following this is the BBM-Sara Youth Movement in Iligan City which will conduct the same event on Saturday, April 23 together with supporters of Marcos and Duterte in Iligan.

According to the BBM-Sara UniTeam Region 10 official facebook page, the starting point of the event in Iligan will be at the City Public Plaza, which will start at 5 o'clock in the morning.

The main event will be held at Wet Park in Barangay Bagong Silang.

Iligan supporters have been encouraged to wear red or green shirts to show their support to Marcos and Duterte.

"This event is open to all BBM-Sara supporters. We encourage everyone to wear red, green or any BBM-Sara shirt and show your creativity through placards and other props you wish to have," BBM-Sara UniTeam Region 10 said in its facebook page.
