BTS spent a little over three weeks in the US. Jungkook flew to the US on March 27 followed by RM, Jimin, Suga, V and Jin on March 28. J-Hope followed on April 2.

The group attended the 64th Grammy Awards held on April 3 at the MGM Grand Arena Garden in Las Vegas.

They performed on the awards show. This year, they were nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their hit song "Butter.”

After the Grammys, the group held their “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage-Las Vegas” at Allegiant Stadium on April 8, 9, 15 and 16.

During the last day of the concert, RM told the crowd, “Our Permission to Dance is finally over. Actually, I got to say this, the Permission to Dance is just a one-time thing. We want to give you a present, make this a total package. This is our 12th show. This could be done because of your love.”

According to Big Hit Music, the four-day Las Vegas concert was watched by 624,000 fans in-person, online and offsite.

An estimated 50,000 people went to the concert per day for a total of 200,000 in four days. In addition, the April 16 concert was live streamed online and was watched by 402,000 fans from 182 countries and regions.

Those who didn’t watch the concert in person viewed it in real-time on a giant screen through Live Play at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. A total of 22,000 fans watched it on the four dates.

After the Las Vegas concert, BTS will be preparing for the release of their new album on June 10.

“BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022. Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS’ new album,” announced Big Hit Music on April 17.
