LAGUNA – Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard bearer former Senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte are scheduled to revisit four Southern Luzon provinces today (Wednesday) and tomorrow, April 21.
It was learned from the LAKAS-CMD press statement that Marcos is set to hold campaign sorties in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro provinces and Batangas, today.
It added that the UniTeam candidates have been revisiting provinces separately so they could cover more ground in the remaining days of the election campaign.
Governor Sara is in Batangas City to meet with health, tourism, coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic frontline personnel and parent.
Then on April 21, Marcos and Duterte are expected to campaign in vote-rich Laguna province.
The UniTeam candidates have paid tribute and honored government employees, along with local officials, for leading the fight against the highly infectious new COVID-19.
The statement added that now that the national government, together with local government units, has controlled the spread of the virus, Marcos and Duterte are advocating the continued reopening of the economy so people could recover lost jobs and livelihood.
Duterte is also scheduled to meet with workers of a big food manufacturing company before proceeding to Lipa for the UniTeam rally.
She has visited Batangas at least twice in the course of the election campaign, it added.
BongBong-Sara tandem with other senatorial slates will also meet with local officials led by Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas who have earlier pledged their support for Marcos and Duterte.
