PBA congratulates Rambo Nuñez in his engagement to Maja Salvador

The Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta or PBA, a leading partylist created to support the Filipino athletes who are poor and marginalized, recently sent a congratulatory message to its newly appointed representative Rambo Nuñez and his fiancée, actress Maja Salvador.

“The PBA Partylist would like to congratulate our very own Rambo Nuñez and the beautiful Maja Salvador on their engagement.

"We celebrate the excitement of this joyous occasion with the couple, their families and friends.

"In all their years together, Rambo and Maja have consistently proven their love and dedication to the Filipino people—whether it’d be through entertainment (showbiz) or public service.

"With Rambo’s nomination to the PBA Partylist and now the formality of an engagement, we congratulate the couple for truly winning in love and in life.

"Additionally, given the couple’s tightly packed schedules, their uncompromising efforts in championing our youth-driven causes are admirable.

"Maja has been incredibly supportive of Rambo’s endeavors and has been doing her own voluntary efforts in terms of championing the PBA’s advocacy.

"We wish Rambo and Maja a life full of love and success as they embark on this momentous chapter," the statement read.

The PBA is a partylist organization in the House of Representatives. It aims to represent the youth with athletic and artistic abilities - but are poor and marginalized in life. It was created for the purpose of discovering, cultivating and harnessing young and promising talents from impoverished and disadvantaged families, leveraging on the advantage of sports and culture as a means to uplift lives and empower futures.

Rambo was recently fielded in as among PBA’s partylist representatives for the May 2022 election.

He and Maja announced their engagement last April 17 after rekindling their romance in 2019.
