The girl group’s Coachella gig will be their first live performance in the US since debuting 18 months ago.

Last October, Aespa released the mini-album “Savage,” which debuted at No. 20 on Billboard 200 and also entered other charts including Artist 100, World Album, Independent Album, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Tastemakers Album, World Digital Song Sales, Billboard Global (excluding the US), and Billboard Global 200.

Aespa’s confirmation of their Coachella appearance came after cryptic social media posts that alluded to the gig.

Aespa’s upcoming Coachella performance follows the appearances of former girl group 2NE1 and Jackson Wang at Coachella’s main stage on April 16 as part of 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Forever set. Epik High also performed at Coachella.

2NE1 surprised fans with their performance of “I Am The Best” at Coachella, their first in seven years since their appearance at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).

Aespa’s members are Giselle, Karina, Winter and Ningning.
