Angel Locsin in Leyte to help Agaton survivors

Who says you need to be a public official to help the less fortunate?

On Monday, April 18, the actress Angel Locsin, together with her husband, film producer Neil Arce, flew to Baybay, Leyte to hand out relief goods to distressed souls devastated by Tropical Storm Agaton.

Photos of the two hobnobbing with overjoyed fans have since made it to social media.

Many praised Angel for her effort.

Some of their comments:

“A real Darna. As always!”

“Salamat Angel sa pagpansin mo dito sa amin. Hulog ka nang langit!!”

“Mabuhay ka Angel! Sana dumami pa ang katulad mo...”

Then again, there are those who were only too quick to accuse her of going there simply to gain support for VP Leni Robredo.

Their thoughts:

“Para maalala ang kanyang pink na manok sa eleksyon. Aminin!”

“For show?? Wag ako Angel...”

“Kahit ano gawin mo. Lunukin mo na lahat ng Bato. Talo kayu!”

It should be noted however, that Angel has been consistent in helping countrymen even before the elections.
